Mercy Maestri
Mercy Maestri proudly wears the crown as the 2024 Sheridan WYO Rodeo Queen, embodying the spirit of Wyoming’s rich western tradition. At 20 years old, Mercy trains horses in both Wyoming and Arizona. She currently is helping at the LIO Reinke family Ranch located just West of Sheridan. When she is not working horses or working on the ranch, Mercy lends her expertise to her family’s enterprises, the Big Horn Mercantile and Big Horn Spirits, renowned for crafting the prestigious WYO Rodeo Whiskey.
Mercy’s journey into the rodeo arena began before she could remember, where she honed her skills in competitive barrel racing until the age of sixteen. A multi-talented athlete, she also excelled on the basketball court during her high school years. Beyond sports, Mercy dedicated her time as a volunteer for Rattlesnake Solutions, fearlessly relocating these reptiles for the safety of her community.
However, her heart truly belongs to the open range and the timeless art of horseback riding. Mercy came to Wyoming to learn the art of ranching with her father.
Being Miss Sheridan WYO Rodeo and carrying sponsor flags with the WYO Wranglers, Mercy continues to embrace her heritage and passion for horsemanship, and is honored to represent the Sheridan WYO Rodeo.
