Sheridan WYO Rodeo week runs July 7-12, 2026 with four nights of PRCA, WPRA and World Championship Indian Relay performances running Wednesday, July 8 through Saturday, July 11. Did you know that the WYO Rodeo was named Mountain States Circuit 2021 Rodeo of the Year by the PRCA?

Season Ticket Holders
Specific, reserved seats are held for Season Ticket Holders until purchase, so there is no concern that their tickets will be released to the public. If Season tickets are not purchased by June 1st, we’ll reach out to our Season Ticket holders to give them a chance to purchase and retain their seats.
Gold Buckle Club Ticket Availability
Gold Buckle Members may purchase two, four-night Gold Buckle ticket packages March 28 – May 5, then up to two additional four-night ticket packages from Wednesday, May 6 – June 11, while supplies last. Starting Wednesday June 12, Gold Buckle Club members may purchase up to four more ticket packages, while supplies last. Note: Gold Buckle grandstand ticket packages typically sell out by late May/early June.
Seating Information
Child Seating
Guests three (3) years of age and older are required to have a ticket for entry every evening of the WYO Rodeo. However, children two (2) years of age and under may sit on the lap of their parent/guardian during the performance. Anyone who would like their own seat, regardless of age, must purchase a ticket.
Accessible Seating
Sheridan County Fairgrounds offers accessible seating, but it is limited and reserved for guests with valid physical accessibility needs. If you require accessible seating, please let us know when purchasing your tickets. You will be required to provide proof of your accessibility need. Guests with accessibility needs must bring their own wheelchairs in which to sit. One companion per accessible guest is allowed, and they must also provide their own seat. &

- How does our rodeo work
- The PRCA (Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association) Pro Rodeo schedule runs year-round, with sanctioned rodeos across the U.S. that allow cowboys to earn points toward qualifying for the National Finals Rodeo (NFR) each December. The Sheridan WYO Rodeo, held each July in Sheridan, Wyoming, is a premier stop on this circuit. As a PRCA-sanctioned event, it attracts top competitors and plays a key role in the summer rodeo run known as “Cowboy Christmas,” where contestants rack up points at high-profile rodeos.
- What goes into setting up for rodeo week?

- How much do tickets cost?

- What happens if I buy from a third party?
- Tickets purchased from third party vendors will not be honored. Please only purchase from E-Tix.
- Can I renew my tickets?
- Season ticket renewal deadline is in June each year and are shared via email each spring.
- Where is the box office located and what are the hours?
- Tickets can be purchased after they go on sale each Spring at the WYO Theater during seasonal hours. Find the Box Office schedule for each year on this page.
- When should I pick up Will Call tickets?
- Early pickup before rodeo week is encouraged to avoid lines. Visit the box office during seasonal hours to pick-up your tickets.
- What happens if I arrive late?
- Be sure to arrive early for the World Championship Indian Relay races at the start of each WYO Rodeo performance. Chutes, Section H, and GBC seating are CLOSED once the relay horses enter the arena at the beginning of each performance. Grandstands seats can be accessed at any time.
- When do the gates close for chutes, Section H, and GBC seating?
- As soon as the relay ponies enter. Arrive early!
- What are the best ways to avoid missing the start of the rodeo?
- Pick up will-call tickets early & arrive before 6:30 PM.
- Is there wheelchair or limited mobility seating?
- Handicap seating, wheelchair-only sections, an limited mobility access can be found in on the grandstands side of the arena. Ticket personnel at the entrance will direct you to your seat.
- Is there handicap parking?
- Yes, parking is available but limited and reserved for select groups inside the fairgrounds. Parking attendants will direct you to handicap areas.
- What about onsite parking at the fairgrounds? What are other parking options and is there a shuttle service?
- Parking is available at the fairgrounds but limited and reserved for select groups.
- Sheridan High School Parking & Shuttle Service: Wednesday through Saturday, 5:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. and for two hours following rodeo, approximately 9:30 p.m. – 11:30 p.m. Free parking in Sheridan High School parking lot Sheridan High School Bus Stop at South Exit to the High School Parking Lot // Fairgrounds Bus Stop at 5th St. Entrance. *No alcoholic beverages allowed on the bus.
- Downtown-to-Fairgrounds Parking & Shuttle Service: Wednesday through Saturday, 5:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. and for two hours following rodeo, approximately 9:30 p.m. – 11:30 p.m. Free parking in City of Sheridan Parking lots and throughout downtown. Downtown Bus Stop at 103 N Gould (old Cook Ford/C&C Tire building) // Fairgrounds Bus Stop at 5th St. Entrance. *No alcoholic beverages allowed on the bus.

- Who is the Stock Contractor?
- The longtime stock contractor of The WYO is world-renowned Sankey Pro Rodeo & Phenom Genetics out of Joliet, Montana. The Stock Contractors are the companies that bring livestock to the arena for rodeos – bucking horses and bulls for the roughstock events and steers and calves for the timed events. The Sheridan WYO Rodeo has a great one, right in our midst, providing top tier animals to the events everyone loves.
- Where can I learn more about the Stock Stars event, and what is it?
- The Stock Stars event is a fan-favorite event showcasing the rising stars of rodeo — both the young riders and the future bucking horses. - What about the Wranglers?
- Flag carriers have been an important part of the Sheridan WYO Rodeo for many years. They strive to perform horsemanship at the highest level, while carrying in sponsorship flags on all four nights of the rodeo.Learn more on our Wranglers page.
- Who are the queens and princesses?

- What are the WYO Theater Box Office and Fairgrounds ticket office hours?
- Seasonal Box Office Hours are posted each Spring.
- What vendors will be onsite? Do they accept cash or card?
- Various food and beverage vendors are available under the grandstands and behind the chutes, accepting cash and card. ATMs are available below the grandstands.
- What carnival activities are available?
- Carnival pricing can be found each year on the Rodeo Events page.
- Does the fairgrounds respond to rodeo-related questions?
- No, direct all rodeo inquiries to the rodeo box office or email [email protected].
- Does the WYO Theater respond to rodeo-related questions?
- Please contact the box office during seasonal hours or send questions to the ticket office email.

- Can I bring a cooler, water bottle, or outside food & drink?
- No coolers, backpacks or large bags allowed. Purses and diaper bags subject to inspection.

- Only service dogs allowed. Please call the box office for additional policies.
- What is the parking surface like?
- The fairgrounds is a gravel lot.
- Is there an elevator to the grandstands?
- There is no elevator. There is a handicap accessible ramp on the north end of the grandstands.

- What other activities are happening downtown during rodeo week?
- Rodeo Week kicks off in style with the Boot Kickoff on Tuesday, followed by four nights of PRCA performances Wed-Sat, and teh beloved WYO Rodoe Parad on Friday morning. During rodeo week downtown comes alive with live music, family-friendly events and more. Check local restaurants and bar social media pages, many that host live music, specials and after-rodeo entertainment all week long.
